Ya les habíamos comentado en enero de este año que NVIDIA estaban planeando entrar al mercado de las tabletas con su propio dispositivo, hecho que fue evidenciado en agosto pasado y que ya es una realidad, esto porque la compañía de Santa Clara ha revelado oficialmente las especificaciones de su NVIDIA Tegra Note, la primera tableta diseñada por NVIDIA.
NVIDIA Tegra Note es un dispositivo con pantalla HD IPS LCD de 7” y resolución de (1280 x 800), esta potenciada por sistema operativo Android en su última versión, con un SoC o procesador Tegra 4 (Cortex-A15 CPU y GeForce GPU con 72 núcleos).
Este dispositivo posee una cámara frontal VGA y cámara trasera de 5 mega píxeles, 16GB de almacenamiento interno expandibles a 32 GB mediante una tarjeta de memoria microSD. El apartado de audio lo conforman parlantes estéreo frontales de alta calidad con bass-reflex port, salida HDMI para conectar el dispositivo a un televisor HD, batería de 10 horas para reproducción de video HD y un lápiz digital con tecnología NVIDIA DirectStylus que mejora notablemente la experiencia de trazado.
La NVIDIA Tegra Note tendrá un precio al por menor sugerido de US$ 199 y será llevado a los distintos mercados en los próximos meses por los socio de NVIDIA como EVGA y PNY Technologies en Estados Unidos, EVGA, Oysters y Zotac en Europa, Colorful, Shenzhen Homecare Technology y ZOTAC en Asia-Pacifico y XOLO en India.
Cabe destacar que Tegra Note es una plataforma y diseño de referencia de NVIDIA con su propio ecosistema de hardware y software, aunque los socios podrán agregar más características si lo estiman conveniente para enriquecer la experiencia de usuario.
